Simply Business Group was founded in response to the communities that we visit and work in, also, the people that we talk to. Everywhere we go there are people with a desire to start there own business and become Entrepreneurs without a clue as to how to get started. I was one of those people. I reached out to others with similar business that I aspired to open and was met with the same answer over and over, again and again. The answers were always the same:

• “Why do you want to start a business
• Its too hard
• It cost too much
• You are already too busy
• when will you have time for yourself or your family
• I don’t remember what I had to do; the list of negative responses is endless.”

After much pondering, I decided to strike out on my own, right or wrong I was going to open my very own business. April, 1993 I opened my first day care center “Queens Village Child Care Center” in the basement of my home. We quickly out grew that space and had to lease a commercial space which created our second site in as many years. This site was Called “Reach and Grow Day Care Center.”

We met with opposition from the community, the city and other forces, but we were determined to be successful. We fastly became known as the best Day Care Center, yet affordable for the community. Our endeavors were many all of which we started and developed on the strength of our dreams and desires, with little or no money. Just to name a few:

• R & J Snack Bar
• Take Time to Reach and Grow; a program for young ladies
• CPR Instructor for Healthcare Providers and lay people
• Wound Care Plus – A seminar program that provide advance wound training for healthcare professionals that lead to certification in Wound and Skin Care Management and many other health related seminars
• Simply Business Group
In response to interest, demand and a desire to help others and to give back, Simply Business Group was founded March, 2001. I knew if I was having problems getting good information and guidance, it was certain that there were others with the exact same problem.

Over the past six (6) years Simply Business Group has been a leading force in the education of Entrepreneurs and the development of new and existing businesses.
